Day 58 - Week 8 - Month 2

Well, as you can see, my tank has really progressed since my last post about 3 weeks ago. Wednesday of week 5 I went back to my local fish store, where the people there gave me the two surviving polyps from my first coral, that zoanthid rock that began to cure. Then, that weekend, on Saturday, I went to a really nice fish store in Sacramento called Exotic Aquarium, where I got a mushroom rock with six mushrooms on it, three zoanthid frags, a brain coral frag, and a cleaner shrimp. A few days ago, on Friday, my dad brought back a small mushroom rock with like ten mushrooms on it from Exotic Aquarium after a business trip to Sacramento. Then, yesterday (Sunday), I went to a store called Aquatic Connection in Dublin, California (near Berkeley), and got a small, bright red mushroom.
Everything is doing great, and the corals are definitely growing. All of the zoanthid frags have grown a couple more polyps, the neptheas are bigger, and the smaller nepthea is opening up more. Just in case you haven't seen this yet, I have a page on this site titled "photos" with photos of all of my fish and invertebrates. On a final note, I forgot to mention in my last post that I took back my yellow-tailed damsel back when I bought my clownfish. I am planning on adding a third fish to my tank though, and right now I am choosing between a six line wrasse and a royal gramma. Feel free to comment on which one you think would be better or vote on it in the poll that I will be putting up.
Until next week, Trevor.
